Site Demolition for Downtown Commons


Morgan Contractors led site demolition efforts in downtown Clarksville to make way for the development of the Downtown Commons. The demolition site included buildings that once housed Bank of America and the Better Business Bureau. Morgan Contractors completed the demolition portion of the $2.5 million project, funded by Montgomery County government, in May 2016. The site encompassed a block of Second, Third, Main and Legion Streets. Downtown Commons now includes a visitor’s center, green space and other amenities. Morgan’s role in the project included:


  • Clean up and debris removal

  • Building demolition
